Tea Room Banana Bread
with Pecans


1/2 cup butter
1 & 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. almond extract
3/4 tsp. baking powder
2 cups flower
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup chopped pecans, reserve a few for top

Cream butter & sugar together, add eggs.
Mix well. Add dry ingredients & extract.
Stir to combine. Add in mashed bananas & pecans.

Pour into PAM sprayed loaf pan.
Sprinkle on a few of the reserved pecans
& a light dusting of sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
